Founder and CEO
Ms. Vivien Wang started her career as a lecturer in statistics at Xi’an Jiaotong University. She later earned her MBA from Northwestern Univerity’s Kellogg School of Management with concentration on marketing, finance and education management. After Kellogg Ms. Wang was an investment strategist based at Merrill Lynch’s Wall Street Head Office and has since conducted business seminars at the China Europe International Business School, Peking University, and Fudan University. Ms. Wang has extensive experience in multinational management and operations having worked throughout the USA, London, Singapore and Hong Kong. Ms. Wang formed the Etonkids Educational group in 2002.
Chief Academic Officer
An established expert in early childhood education Marlene Barron, Ph.D has over forty-five years experience as a consultant, educator and Head of School. As the Chief Academic Officer for Etonkids Educational Group, Dr. Barron is responsible for overseeing teaching and research.
Chinese Academic Advisor
Mr. Zhuo is a senior teacher who holds a bachelor degree. He had been the principal of Shijia Primary School from 1991 to 2010, and currently works in Beijing Runfeng School as a principal. He is the member of 9th and 10th CPPCC; part-time professor of Education Ministry elementary school principals training center, education management of Beijing Normal University Institute and education administration of National institute. He is also the member of modern education technology laboratory expert group. Mr. Zhuo was awarded the “Star Principal of National Primary and Secondary School” “Beijing Outstanding Principal” “Leader of Beijing Education” “Man of Education” and so on. He also published two books named Explore the Harmonious Education and For Children, For Tomorrow. Mr. Zhuo joins BCA as a Chinese curriculum consultant, and will help us build a more complete Chinese teaching system combined with his experience of teaching and managing.

Ms. Jiang has extensive experience working at International Schools where she has taught Chinese to middle and high school students using the International Baccalaureate MYP and DP programs. She is a qualified MYP Chinese Moderator and prior to joining BCA was Head of Chinese Department (Mid/High) at the Canadian International School of Beijing.
Mrs. Mazurek holds a Masters in School Leadership (Melbourne University) Bachelors in Education, Diploma in Primary Education and Diploma of Business. For her Masters work she received the Australian Council of Education Leadership (ACEL) award for the most outstanding student in her group.
Mrs. Mazurek has led a distinguished 34 year career in Primary education rising through the Victorian school system as a Teacher, Vice Principal and Principal in Melbourne Australia. She has developed school strategic plans and has successfully implementing key numeracy, literacy and 2nd language initiatives.
She has a strong interest in language and culture. At her recent school in Melbourne it was the first to introduce the Australian indigenous language to the students as part of a program to better understand the cultural history of indigenous people.
An enthusiastic, passionate and professional leader Mrs. Mazurek will bring a strong focus on quality teaching and learning.

Ms. Briffett started her career teaching Elementary school in Canada before moving to the UK where she taught Primary and Kindergarten grades. Ms. Briffett licensed as a certified teacher in Ontario and Quebec. Qualified in Special Needs education she has a passion for helping disadvantaged children. At BCA Ms. Briffett is lead teacher for the Kindergarten bridging program.

Education: BA Degree, Early Childhood Studies, FETAC Level 6 train the trainer, TEFL
Trained in holistic pedagogy encompassing multidisciplinary approaches including Reggio Emelia and Montessori Ms O’Regan has been working in Early Childhood education since 2009. She has a rich experience working as a kindergarten lead teacher as well as working with disadvantaged and special needs children.

Ms. Cheng graduated from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science as a Laboratory Scientist but has since found her passion for Education and Early Childhood Education teaching English for young learners. Flower joins BCA with previous experience as a foreign language instructor to young learners and is a dedicated, cheerful and responsible teaching assistant who is popular with her students.

Ms. Liu graduated from the Tianjin Conservatory of Music. Ms. Liu has worked in the Early Childhood sector for 8 years as both a teacher and curriculum supervisor. Ms. Liu has taught at BCA for 3 years where she teaches Chinese Language and Math in the Kindergarten bridging program.

Ms. Springer holds a certified teaching license from North Carolina where she taught 6th grade Language Arts to common core standards alongside the International Baccalaureate Program. Ms. Springer has also worked in the UK teaching English as a foreign Language. At BCA Ms. Springer is currently the lead teacher Grade 1B.
Grade Teacher - Chinese Curriculum
Education: Bachelors of Art- Literature, Master of Arts – Literature
Ms. Shang graduated from MudangJiang University with a Master’s in Literature and holds a High School teacher certification. Prior to joining BCA in 2015 Ms. Sheng taught at International Schools teaching math and Chinese. She was also responsible for teaching students selected by the Malaysian Ministry of Education to learn Chinese at to Beijing Sports University. At BCA Ms. Shang is responsible for teaching Grade 1 Chinese curriculum of Math and Language.

Ms. McElevey has spent the previous several years teaching at a challenging multicultural Primary School environment in the UK. Having received exemplary teacher observations ratings, Ms. McElevey took a 6-month sabbatical to travel the world. She has joined BCA looking to further her teaching career in an international environment.

Ms. McLaughlin graduated from the University of Glasgow with an M.A Hons. in Italian. She also holds a Post Graduate Certificate of Education (Secondary French and Italian) and a Post Graduate Diploma of Education (Primary) with a merit in teaching.
Ms. McLaughlin has taught at primary schools in Scotland and USA and English at Middle schools in Japan. Prior to joining BCA also spent several years at the Al Bahya School in Abu Dhabi where she taught grades two and three.

Ms. Lu holds a bachelor of Education and certified teachers license from British Columbia, Canada. She has taught primary school for several years in British Columbia. Now in her 2nd year of teaching at BCA Ms. Lu previously taught specialist Art and Music successfully developing those programs at the school, and she was the lead teacher of grade 3 last year. This year Ms. Lu is teaching grade four.

Mr. Courage has 6 years teaching experience at Primary schools in British Columbia and Newfoundland and during his tenure has gained extensive experience teaching combined grade classes, particularly at grades four, five and six.

Mr. Scovil holds a Masters Degree in Education and a Bachelors Degree in Art from Portland State University. He is a licensed teacher from Oregon State and a certified art teacher. Mr. Scovil’s prior teaching includes art teacher at Middle and High schools in the United States as well as teaching art and design at Beijing Normal University, Beijing. Mr. Scovil also has experience with set and stage design and art programs for junvenile high-risk youths.

Ms. Bak has completed her bachelors and Masters in Music and is currently finishing her dissertation in DMA, doctorate degree in violin performance from the University of Cincinnati –College Conservatory of Music. In addition to being an accomplished performer Ms. Bak holds a Primary Division License is certified with the Sassmannshaus tradition and Suzuki method of instruction for violin. Ms. Bak has coached chamber music and choir, taught group string classes and directed Orchestra and Band. Prior to joining BCA Ms. Bak was Primary Director and head of Fine Arts at Pei Ying International School, Yantai.

Ms. Chang graduated from the Southwest University of Nationalities with a Bachelor in English. Her previous experience includes translation and interpreting and prior to joining BCA held the position of Librarian at the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
Deputy Director of Physician
Ms. Zhang has more than 30 years of work experience in health care and clinical medical. Prior to joining BCA Ms. Zhang worked in Northeast Dianli University hospital over 20 years. Ms. Zhang also holds the Level 3 nutritionists certificate. She arranges health knowledge lectures for students’ families regularly, supports meal collocation and protect the health for the teachers and students of the entire school.

Mr. George joins us from the United States where he graduated from the University of Cleveland, Ohio with a Bachelors of Science in Education (honors) and is a licensed teacher with the State of Ohio, USA.
Mr. George has experience teaching in the US public school system and has also taught in Thailand. More recently, Mr. George has been teaching at Etonkids here in Beijing. Here he has gained a positive reputation and is a very popular teacher with Students and Parents alike due to his passion and energy for teaching and dedication to his students.
Education: Graduate diploma in Education，the University of Ballarat.
Mr. Webb will be joining us from Australia where he has been teaching as a homeroom and PE teacher for more than 7 years. He has experience teaching across various primary grades and holds a graduate diploma in Education from the University of Ballarat.
Joining BCA will be the 2nd time Mr. Webb has taught in China. His first visit as a Children’s English teacher in 2013/2014 left a deep impression and he has been responsible for implementing Chinese language programs at his current school in Australia.
Ms. Zhu graduated from National Huaqiao University with a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature. She also holds the qualification certificate for senior high school and certificate for TEM8. Mr. Zhu has rich experience in teaching and class management. She has taught college students in Hebei Foreign Studies University for 1 year and then taught in Yinhe primary school in Beijing for 4 years. Mr. s Zhu is very patient and kind in teaching， using various teaching methods to arise interest among students. She used to develop school-based textbooks—Happy Phonics series and initiated English drama class in school.

Michelle Sun graduated from the Beijing International Studies University with an Master’s Degree. She also holds a Post Graduate Certificate of Administration and a Post Graduate Diploma of Education in English Language Teaching and second language is French.
Michelle Sun has taught English at the New Oriental Schools in Beijing & Chongqing and AP Course Chinese Support at the international Program of the No. 12 Middle schools in Beijing. Prior to joining BCA Teaching department also spent one year in the position of the Principle Assistant and ASAs Administration.

Cecilia Li graduated from Chongqing University with a Master’s degree, Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other languages. She has taught in Thailand for 10 months and then worked as a Chinese teacher in a private primary school in Barcelona, Spain. Cecilia Li also worked in a public high school in Madrid, Spain, before joining BCA.

Ms. Han graduated from Beijing Normal University with a master’s degree in education. She also received a bachelor’s degree in Chinese language and literature from Capital Normal University. She has a high school teacher qualification certificate.
Ms. Han has taught Chinese at Middle school in Beijing, and she has taught Chinese at The Korean International School in Beijing.

Joyce, teaching Chinese and math now in BCA, graduated from Hebei University and got bachelor degree, has ten years teaching experiences, she loves students and likes teaching and learning with them, hoping students can enjoy themselves in learning at school, she is lively, outgoing, serious, patient and determined.
